Sarah Seiske

 Sarah Seiske

2 nd and 3 rd Grade / Athletic Director

My name is Sarah Seiske and I am the 2 nd and 3 rd grade teacher at Celebration Lutheran School. I have been teaching at Celebration Lutheran School since the 2000 – 2001 school year. I was blessed to be called to Celebration right out of college in 2000, and have been loving it ever since. I attended Concordia College in Mequon and graduated in May of 2000 with a degree in both Early Childhood and in Special Education.

I grew up in the small town of Marion, Wisconsin, located about an hour northwest of Appleton. I still visit my parents there regularly who built a house about ½ mile away from the farm I grew up on. I grew up with two older brothers who loved to include me in there football and baseball games. In high school I participated in band (playing the french horn), volleyball, softball, track and field, a little cheerleading, and manager for the wrestling team. I graduated from Marion High School in 1995.

I have lived in Appleton since the summer of 2000, moving into my first apartment with my son Cody. In 2004 I married my husband Nate, and we were able to buy and move in to our house in the Spring of 2006. We were later blessed with a son, Nathan, in October of 2006 and a daughter, Eden, in September 2011.

One thing I hold near and dear to my heart is the CP telethon that takes place in March each year and benefits the CP center in Green Bay and the surrounding areas. My oldest son Cody was born with Cerebral Palsy, and passed away in 2012 due to complication of CP. During the time that God blessed him here, he taught me patience, how to have a sense of humor, and a love of life.

I have a strong love of sports, especially watching the Milwaukee Brewers (no matter how poorly they are doing) and was thrilled when the Timber rattlers became their minor league team. My family enjoys attending T-rat games throughout the summer, going to the pool, and just playing around outside. I am also busy watching my son play soccer, and play on the CLS’s basketball and boys’ volleyball teams. My daughter is also ready to jump into soccer and give dance a try.

With my love of sports, I have been able to share that love here at Celebration. I coach volleyball for both the girls in the fall and the boys in the spring, run our all school track and field day in May, organize the 3 rd – 8 th graders for the West Bloomfield track and field day, and serve as a co-athletic director.

I love teaching 2 nd and 3 rd grade at Celebration Lutheran School. The students help to keep me young, and always have so many interesting things to tell you. It is a fun age where they really start to gain independence in their work. I also love the family feel of Celebration – being able to celebrate with each other, and comfort in times of need. God has definitely blessed me with my position at CLS!
