Scrip is a great way to support Celebration Lutheran School (CLS) and to earn tuition or fee rebates.

Here’s how it works:

You purchase or order local merchant gift cards at face value from CLS. CLS purchases them from a scrip center at a discount, half of the discount is then passed on to you in the form of a rebate on your CLS statement or can be designated directly for CLS, CCC or Faith Lutheran Church. The other half of the discount goes to support CLS. It’s that easy!

How Can I Get Scrip?

There are a few ways:

1. Stop by to place an order or purchase scrip that is on hand: School office hours when CLS is in session, Sundays after the 9am worship service at the Celebration Site, or Sundays between services at the Faith Site.
2. Download the order form below or grab it from the window ledge outside the CLS office. Fill our your form, include payment and put both in the CLS tuition/scrip box outside the Church office. Orders received with payment by Tuesday morning at 9am should be available for pick up by Friday the same week.
3. Order Scrip online at shopwithscrip.com using CLS’s enrollment code (available on request). Print out your order, and place your order with payment in the CLS tuition box outside the Church office. You can also order online using bank account debit by setting up a PrestoPay account. Orders received with payment by Monday morning at 9am should be available for pick up by Friday of the same week.

When will I see my rebate?

As you purchase scrip you are accumulating rebates. Rebates are calculated and credited to family accounts and donated to the different parts of the ministry three times a year (Jan,. Mar., and Aug.).

How is my rebate calculated?

Merchant’s rebate percent and discounted price vary, but here is an example order:

$11.00 for family rebate or donation
$11.00 for donation to Celebration Lutheran School

In this example the family pays $375 (face value) to CLS for their store cards. CLS only pays $353.00 (the discounted price) when purchasing from our scrip center for a total rebate of $22.00. 50% of the rebate is donated to CLS, and 50% is available for fees/tuition or to donate back to CCC, CLS, or Faith Luthern Church. If a family uses scrip to purchase their basic food, gas and department store items each week during the school year, the rebate can add up to hundreds of dollars. If you use scrip for other uses like Red Robin that pays 9% or LL Bean that pays 15% your rebate could be even bigger! There are about 75 area retailers for which we keep cards on hand, and dozens of others that we can order!

Please note: A $30.00 fee will be charged for any returned check, and you will be asked not to purchase scrip until the matter is resolved. If you have more than 2 returned checks during the school year, you will be asked to use cash only for the remainder of that year.
