  • Student Council

    Students in 5th-8th grade are eligible to campaign and then be elected to serve as Student Council members. These students work with a mentor to coordinate school and community service projects and family fun nights. Students who participate in this group learn planning skills, marketing, teamwork, democracy, and leadership.

  • Spelling Bee

    • Students compete against their classmates in an oral spelling bee to determine the best spellers in their grade. This event encourages and develops good spelling and public speaking skills.
  • Science Fair

    • This project that occurs once every three years for Science students in grades 3-8 fosters the ability to use a scientific method, analysis, a reporting method, and the ability to document and communicate their findings to a broad audience.
  • Toy Fair

    • This project that occurs once every three years for Science students in grades 3-8 fosters creativity, invention, and project development and completion.
  • Consumer Reports

    • This project that occurs once every three years for Science students in grades 3-8 fosters ability to use a scientific method, conduct product claim testing, perform analysis, and communicate their findings.
