Celebration Lutheran School first opened for the 1998-1999 school year. We’ve been on this journey for 20 years, and in recognition and celebration of that, our school theme this year will be “Joy in the Journey”. We have chosen the following bible verse on which to focus our attention:
“These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full.” John 15:11 ESV
Celebration Lutheran School opened its doors in 1998 offering 3K, 4K, 5K and 1st grade. Additional classes were added each year, and CLS now offers a family supportive educational community for children in 3K – 8th grade (including a Full Day 4K option).
Why do families choose Celebration Lutheran School? Through small, caring, learning and spiritual environments, staff offer high quality academics where children are challenged to achieve their individual God-given potential. Parents also find support at the school as they partner with school staff to raise up the next generation of believers and leaders. Ministry partner Faith Lutheran Church and other area LCMS churches provide spiritual support for the school and families of Celebration.
What will they teach my child at Celebration Lutheran School?
As a Christian school, Celebration Lutheran School includes daily teaching about religion and integrate Christian beliefs with every subject. Parents who are not Lutheran, but who are considering enrolling their child, may wonder, “What will they teach my child about religion at Celebration Lutheran School?”

❏ The central teachings of the Bible is that only through faith in Jesus Christ can people be saved.
Celebration Lutheran School Teaches about God
❏ There is only one God, but there are three equal persons in the Holy Trinity.
❏ God the Father Almighty is the First Person of the Trinity, the Creator of everything and everyone.
❏ God the Son is the Second Person of the Trinity, the Savior, who died for our sins and rose from the dead.
❏ God the Holy Spirit is the Third Person of the Trinity, the Sanctifier, who gives us faith through His Word and Sacraments.
Celebration Lutheran School Teaches about Salvation
❏ God created us individually and separately.
❏ He gave us the Ten Commandments through Moses.
❏ God requires us to obey His Law perfectly.
❏ We are all sinners, unable to obey God perfectly.
❏ God threatens to punish all who disobey God’s Law.
❏ God saved us from hell by Christ’s sacrifice on the cross.
❏ When Jesus died on the cross, He paid the price for all the sins of all the people in the world.
❏ The Holy Spirit, who works through the Word of God, brings us to saving faith in Christ.
❏ God gives us the forgiveness of sins, seals us for eternal life in heaven, and strengthens our faith through the Sacraments of Baptism and Holy Communion.
