My name is Donna Zimmermann and I am blessed to be a part of the Celebration Lutheran School staff teaching 4K. The 2022-2023 school year is my 39th year of teaching, and I have been on the staff of CLS since its inception in 1998.
My training at Concordia College in Chicago taught me that each child is uniquely formed by God, and it has been my privilege over the years to individually consider each child. One of the greatest pleasures in my job is to be a learner myself, incorporating the new with the old to reach each child.
My partner over the past 40 years has been my husband Mark, who encourages my passion for Lutheran education. We have three wonderful children, and two grandchildren that are our delight. In my free time I love to travel, read, and spoil my West highland terriers.
